Elisa Bender: There’s a dire need to address mental health problems in the workplace. The company must identify the early signs of mental health issues to address them before they get worse. For example, when you find that an employee’s unusual behavior is different from their normal routine at work. Some of the signs include staying quiet or arriving late at work. When employees face such issues, their productivity levels also collapse.
Elisa Bender: The company must be vigilant about these issues and address them in real time. They must foster open-ended conversation with the victim and keep a regular check.
Elisa Bender: An employer must lend support by offering different incentives. It may include PTO to revive an employee’s energy for work.
