Elisa Bender: There’s a dire need to address mental health problems in the workplace. The company must identify the early signs of mental health issues to address them before they get worse. For example, when you find that an employee’s unusual behavior is different from their normal routine at work. Some of the signs include staying quiet or arriving late at work. When employees face such issues, their productivity levels also collapse.

How can companies create a supportive environment for employees to openly discuss mental health and seek help when needed? Share examples of successful communication and resources that have made a difference in your organization.

Elisa Bender: The company must be vigilant about these issues and address them in real time. They must foster open-ended conversation with the victim and keep a regular check.

What role can training and education play in fostering mental health awareness in the workplace? Share your experience with impactful workshops, seminars, or training programs that have contributed to a better understanding and support of mental health among employees.

Elisa Bender: An employer must lend support by offering different incentives. It may include PTO to revive an employee’s energy for work.
