Warm, peachy tones paired with fresh, illuminated skin – perfect for that glowing summer look.
We worked with makeup artist, Thembi Mkandla, to bring you this fresh and glowing makeup tutorial. We’ve recreated many of these looks on different models, in order to show you how to create the same effect but for various skin tones, skin types and face shapes. Alongside your base essentials and tools, you can recreate this look, demonstrated on Kaya, with our customisable, sustainable Colour Palette.
STEP BY STEP
STEP 1
Apply BEAUTY BOOSTER sheer foundation in shade seven (coming soon) over the entire face using the ECO ARTIST kabuki brush to even skin tone. Start from the centre of your face and work your way outwards, buffing in circular motions until evenly blended.
STEP 2
Using the larger end of your ECO ARTIST flat detailing brush and ILLUMA light-diffusing concealer in chai, brighten the under-eyes to reduce signs of any tiredness. Use your fingers to push any excess product into the skin for a natural finish.
STEP 3
Groom your brows upwards to create a full fluffy look using the brow spoolie of your ECO ARTIST 3-In-1 eye brush. Using the angled liner from the same brush, fill in any sparse areas of your brows using BROW BOSS defining powder in carob.
STEP 4
Using the fluffy end of your ECO ARTIST eye shadow brush, apply EYES ON YOU pressed shadow in cinnamon all over your eyelid and blend upwards and outwards through your socket in gentle windscreen wiper motions.
Next, take the small end of your ECO ARTIST flat detailing brush and apply EYES ON YOU pressed shadow in oatmeal to the inner corner of your eye. Blend onto the inner eyelid using your eyeshadow brush.
Add definition to your top lash line using your SILK GEL LINER in warm brown (coming soon) and smudge using the pointed end of your eyeshadow brush.
TOP TIP – This doesn’t need to be a perfectly straight line, as you’re going to blend it. This also works best if you apply as close to your lash line as possible. It’ll make your lashes look nice and thick!
To brighten and open up your eyes, apply your SILK GEL LINER in luna (coming soon) to your waterline and softly blend with warm brown underneath.
Apply LASH EXTENSION KIT in black to add volume and length to your lashes.
STEP 5
Apply BLUSH CRUSH cream colour in coffee cherry to the apples of your cheeks using the flat, dome-shaped end of your ECO ARTIST precision face brush.
Apply WAY TO GLOW pressed highlighter in golden hour to the tops of your cheekbones and tip of your nose using the smaller end of the same brush.
Warm up and add shape to your face using the MINERAL FOUNDATION in rich mocha and your ECO ARTIST full coverage kabuki brush. Finish the skin by setting any unwanted shiny areas with SOFT FOCUS perfecting powder in dark.
TOP TIP – Apply MINERAL FOUNDATION in rich mocha using soft pressure in a ‘3’ shape, starting on your forehead, go under the cheek bones and finish on your jawline.
STEP 6
Line lips using your LINE UP lip pencil in dare. Apply KISS ME QUICK lipstick pan in juicy apricot and finish with LIP GLAZE in velvet peach for a glossy finish.
