Avarea Alexander on Healing Trauma and Reclaiming Power through Purification and Light Body Activation

Avarea Alexander

The body remembers. So does the soul.

Avarea Alexander has experienced this personally. For over two decades, she has walked a path of intense inner healing that began with early childhood trauma and was transformed through divine intervention. A spontaneous kundalini awakening launched her into a spiritual rebirth that would shape the rest of her life. From that moment forward, she committed to cleansing, healing, and rebirthing, not just herself, but others.

Today, through Heartstar Ministry and the Altar of Life Center. Avarea helps others release pain and reconnect with their divine wholeness. Her work draws from the ancient Essene traditions, offering natural, holistic practices such as breathwork, bodywork, purification, and light body activation. Her 28-day Purification Pathway is a comprehensive call to reset, encompassing physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Thousands have passed through her programs, emerging with clarity, radiance, and restored purpose.

This interview peels back the layers of her experience. She talks about water as a healer. About reclaiming power through stillness. About how the sacred body temple must be cleansed to truly awaken.

Avarea, what does reclaiming power truly mean to you in the context of purification and light body activation, and how does this process differ from traditional ideas of healing or self-improvement?

Avarea Alexander: Power is in our Presence, being in total awareness of our own being, and through our own actions. When we cleanse and purify, we get to see all that we have done, all that we have held onto, and when we truly let it all go, we open space for all new life to enter our being. And if we are true to that process, we do not repeat the same patterns, actions, or causes that created those conditions in the first place. So the reclamation of “power” is truly just coming home, to our own, embodied presence and recognizing all the causes and conditions that generated the effects of our own suffering, or our causes of suffering upon others. We become lighter because we are not carrying the density, debris, or the material of past poor behaviors, and we do not repeat those things. This is beyond mere self-improvement; it is a total excavation of all that would have us repeating cycles of self-abuse or karmic recursion.

Many people carry trauma that is buried beneath layers of emotional and energetic suppression. How does your method help clients access those hidden layers and begin the process of energetic release with clarity and stability?

Avarea Alexander: Our methods are gentle ways of using the infinite power of living water for releasing stored material that can actually keep the physical body, looping over and over again, through emotional and mental memories and traumas, that get stored in the psyche and soma. When we are ready to look at it and let it go and grant ourselves and others total forgiveness, we can begin to build from a vessel that is not storing old material. We use high-frequency and vibrational medicine devices to help this process by amplifying what needs to be cleared in the gentlest and effective ways that bring new life to the whole cellular being.

Light body activation can sound abstract to someone unfamiliar with the concept. How do you guide individuals to not only understand it but begin to experience it within their own physical and spiritual transformation?

Avarea Alexander: There are 10 specific light bodies of consciousness that we are all traversing through every day. Negative mind, heart, positive mind, karmas, destiny, etc., we go day by day and as we clear the old material from the body, we work on activating and becoming aware of how these light bodies work, how we use them in our day to day lives, and how to activate them through our own awareness. When we complete the process, we enter the Radiant body and live our lives from a heart-centered knowing, through a clear vessel that knows its own inherent, direct connection to its source. With that knowledge, we do not tend to repeat old patterns, and with a clean and clear vessel, we do not attract the same things we used to attract in order to learn and grow.

Your work often speaks to multidimensional healing. How do you support people in navigating spiritual shifts that can feel disorienting or overwhelming during deep purification?

Avarea Alexander: We treat each person as a precious individual. Every day we approach the purging process with love and care, as if each day is the only day we have, to make right within the being. We do this by addressing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of each day, focusing on what is being released and what is being received. It is a process, and yet, everyone says how easy we make it. Truly healing does not have to be hard; we can heal in peacefulness much easier and faster than we can through pain and suffering. We make the process of multidimensional navigation easy and fun, and it is such a joy to get to witness every day, everyone becoming more radiant and alive, as they let go of all that was holding them back from being who they truly are.

You hold space for very intense and sacred work. What inner practices help you remain clear, protected, and fully present when facilitating powerful releases and awakenings for others?

Avarea Alexander: I have been in my own personal practice and path of purification for 25 years, and I am just about to complete my 6th 1000 days of spiritual discipline. I do the cleanse I offer to others twice a year, and also seasonal flushes. I love taking care of my sacred vessel and helping others to do the same. I practice yoga and breathwork every day and stay true to my path, no matter what is going on around me and in life. Sometimes staying clean and clear, and true to my path, requires me to be in solitude, and sometimes it requires me to serve the community. I attempt to maintain my balance in that and hold myself accountable when I need to do better.

Looking ahead, what is your vision for how heart-centered purification and light body activation might shape the collective consciousness in this generation and the next?

Avarea Alexander: I see us all as innocent beings who have had to go through A LOT of trauma. Even just being born was very traumatic for most. When we are cleansed and cleared of all the density that holds us in a lower frequency and vibration, we naturally show up differently in life and in our relationships. When we feel good and love ourselves, we want others to feel good and love themselves. And when we have overcome suffering, we serve by helping others overcome their own suffering. It is just our true nature when in alignment with life. We have a new offering: a system for what we do here in Hawaii in our immersive retreats, now available online for those who cannot travel to us. WE offer lifetime access to our healing and cleansing protocols, as well as all the supplements we use as well, what i love about this offering is that people can learn how to take really good care of themselves at home, and continue to return to the program any time they need a tune up or refreshment for their own being. This is true self-care, and once you have done it a few times, it becomes a natural part of your lifestyle and a healthy way of living.
