Glam Haus Beauty was born out of a simple but powerful idea: luxury should be accessible. With a background in product development for high-end beauty brands, our founder saw the trade-offs of salon manicures—hours in a chair, hundreds of dollars—and knew there had to be a better way.
That’s how Glam Haus Beauty came to life: a brand crafted to bring salon-quality nails at home (or on the go), without sacrificing quality for convenience. Each set features real salon soft gel coating, dual application options (strong-hold glue or reusable tabs), and formulations designed to protect your natural nails.
Our mission is simple: to empower women to be their most beautiful selves—without breaking the bank. Glam Haus Beauty is our love letter to the modern woman: busy, stylish and unapologetically herself. Welcome to the Glam Haus.
You’ve worked behind the scenes in high-end beauty product development. How did that experience shape the way you created Glam Haus Beauty from the ground up?
Stephanie Chu: I started my beauty career behind the scenes at one of the industry’s top contract manufacturers where we developed products for many of the luxury and prestige brands you see in Sephora and other global retailers. That experience gave me an insider’s understanding of what it truly takes to build quality — from raw materials and formulation stability to packaging precision and large-scale production.
From there, I moved to the brand side with a luxury skincare and body care brand that believed in a radically honest approach to beauty — no watered-down formulas, no unnecessary fillers, and no shortcuts. Every ingredient had a purpose, and every product was crafted with the same care and intention you’d give to someone you love. This inspired me to always want to serve customers in this way, and I wanted to bring that quality level to Glam Haus Beauty.
When I created Glam Haus Beauty, I brought both worlds together: the technical discipline of manufacturing and the uncompromising standards of luxury skincare. Every detail — from our real salon UV gel coating and high-shine finishes to our chic white-and-gold packaging — was designed to make the press-on experience feel indulgent and elevated. Each set is built to perform like a salon gel manicure, lasting up to two weeks without chipping or lifting. Glam Haus was never about keeping up with trends. I built it to meet the kind of standard I’ve always wanted for myself — modern, premium beauty that delivers.
What drew you to reimagine the nail experience in particular, out of all aspects of beauty?
Stephanie Chu: I’ve always loved getting my nails done and it’s been part of my beauty ritual since I was a young girl. But over time, I started to notice how much it demanded, especially the hours in the salon chair, the constant appointments, and the rising cost of the service. I realized that for many women, beauty had become something that required sacrifice, whether of time, money, or even their health.
Glam Haus was born from the idea that you shouldn’t have to choose between luxury and practicality. Our press-ons deliver the same salon-quality look and feel, without the expense or time commitment. It’s freedom to keep that polished, confident energy without being tied to a salon chair.
Walk us through the materials, technology, or design details that set your sets apart. What was the most challenging part of creating a press-on nail that actually feels and performs like a salon gel manicure?
Stephanie Chu: If you look closely at what’s on the market, many press-ons are made from standard ABS plastic — lightweight and affordable, but more rigid and less flexible than the natural nail. At Glam Haus, we use a premium hybrid material made with a hybrid acrylic base that combines rubber-like flexibility with the strength and clarity of acrylic. It moves with your natural nail for a seamless fit and lasting wear.
My favorite part is each Glam Haus set is finished with a UV gel coating, the same technology used in professional salon manicures. That’s what gives our nails their signature high-gloss shine and scratch-resistant durability.
We’ve also paid close attention to nail health, which is something our community deeply cares about. Our adhesive is infused with vitamins to help protect and nourish the natural nail — and the feedback has been incredible. Customers consistently tell us their nails stay strong and show no damage after removal, while lasting longer than anything they’ve tried before.
The biggest challenge was balancing that professional-grade quality with comfort and care — but the result is a press-on that feels durable and truly salon-level without compromise.
Glam Haus was built with busy, stylish women in mind. How do you balance luxury and practicality in each product?
Stephanie Chu: Glam Haus was created for women who want to look put-together without sacrificing their time. Each set takes less than fifteen minutes to apply and can go wherever life takes you. I always keep a box in my travel toiletry bag because between work, events, and flights, I never want to feel caught off-guard. I’ve actually put these nails on while on the road and traveling!
What role does self-care play in your life, and how does Glam Haus help redefine what that looks like for modern women?
Stephanie Chu: Self-care is incredibly important to me. I have always loved my facials, massages, and makeup. For me, it’s less about elaborate routines and more about small, intentional moments that help me reconnect with myself and feel empowered as a woman.
I don’t think self-care must be time-consuming or expensive, sometimes it can be as simple as doing something that makes you feel put-together and confident. In essence, that’s exactly what Glam Haus Beauty was created for.
Why is that redefinition of self-care so important right now?
Stephanie Chu: Redefining self-care matters now more than ever because women are busier than ever. Between careers, family, health, and everything in between, time has become our most valuable possession. For so long, beauty has demanded so much of it — the hours spent in the salon, constant appointments and high costs, for example.
Now, self-care is evolving. It’s about reclaiming your time — doing what you love and being with the people who matter most. At the same time, we believe women shouldn’t have to choose between those moments and the confidence that comes from looking and feeling their best.
How do you see the Glam Haus community growing, both online and offline?
Stephanie Chu: Right now, Glam Haus is an online brand based in the U.S., but our vision has always extended beyond that. As we continue to grow, we hope to expand internationally as demand builds, and to explore retail opportunities because while we’re digitally driven, we feel our products are meant to be experienced up close.
We’ve seen early excitement from the pageant and beauty communities. For these women, being camera-ready is essential, but time is limited and pageant participants often need to wear multiple looks in a single weekend, so they can’t be tied to one manicure for weeks. That’s where quick-adhesive press-ons come in — the perfect solution for their schedules.
