Thank you so much for joining us. Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Bernhard Tewes: As a licensed hypnotherapist, practice owner, and keynote speaker on hypnosis, I see my main goal as bringing hypnotherapy into this world. I am deeply convinced that hypnosis is the fastest way to change behaviors and emotional triggers, and it deserves more attention than it currently receives.
Unlike other popular mindfulness techniques, hypnosis is aimed at bringing about quality changes where they are needed quickly.
As an entrepreneur, how do you incorporate mindfulness or spiritual practices into your leadership style? Can you share an instance where this approach significantly impacted your business decisions or team dynamics?
Bernhard Tewes: As a hypnotherapist, I often work with entrepreneurs whose main problem is the inability to let go of control and change their mindset from being a control freak to a growth leader.
Being a control freak in general may be beneficial when starting a business, but after some time, delegation becomes crucial to avoid burnout. To assist these clients, I begin by addressing the anxiety that often lies behind their desire to maintain control.
My primary task as a hypnotherapist in such cases is to identify the root of this emotion and reshape the evaluation and subconscious response to it through hypnotic suggestions. Additionally, I use the HypnoBox app as a supportive tool to help clients reinforce positive beliefs on a daily basis, even on days without personal therapy sessions.
Balancing a busy professional life with healthy eating can be challenging. What strategies or habits have you adopted to ensure your diet supports both your body and spirit, especially under the pressures of entrepreneurship?
Bernhard Tewes: Firstly, to begin forming a habit of eating more healthily, you need to understand that your body requires good-quality fuel to perform well. This fuel comes from vitamins, minerals, and fresh water.
Once you realize, at a subconscious level, that mindful eating is beneficial for you, it will become natural to choose healthy meals without considering any special diets.
Specific techniques such as hypnosis can also be used to make it easier to program yourself toward healthy eating. I use audio suggestions in HypnoBox to help me stay on track with eating healthy.
How have you transformed your workspace to enhance focus, creativity, and inner peace? Do you have any specific routines or environmental changes that have made a significant difference in your workday wellness?
Bernhard Tewes: As a leader, I make sure to maintain a positive mindset because I know it affects the whole team. I believe that by nurturing your own workday wellness, you can inspire a culture of well-being that positively impacts both you and your team.
Quality rest is crucial for peak performance. What sleep hygiene rituals do you follow to maintain high energy and clear thinking? How have these practices contributed to your success and well-being as a business owner?
Bernhard Tewes: There are many helpful rituals and practices that can be used before going to sleep. One such practice is creating a peaceful and conducive environment for sleep and manifestation.
This can include engaging in a relaxation routine before bed, such as practicing deep breathing exercises, journaling about your desires and intentions, or engaging in a brief meditation or visualization session.
The key is to create a calm and positive mental and physical state before sleep, allowing your subconscious mind to be more receptive to the suggestions it receives.
