We are thrilled to have you join us today! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company?

Apan Amos Damri: I’m a serial entrepreneur with several start-ups under my belt. A few years back I was looking for a project that would actually help people, something pure with real impact.

I saw that there was a natural solution for IBD that helps patients more than anything else out there, but the way the system is set up makes it difficult for them to access it, let alone learn about it. It disturbed me enough that I decided to join my co-founders in creating Evinature and make a change.

If you were in an elevator with Warren Buffett, how would you describe your company, your services or products?

Apan Amos Damri: Evinature is unique in that we combine the most current scientific evidence, the extensive medical experience of our expert teams, clinical data from patients, and digital tools to create a model capable of providing accessable and effective nutraceuticals to patients around the world with an aim to improve medical equity.

What makes your company different from others?

Apan Amos Damri: We are the only supplement e-commerse platform that tailors protocols for individual patients and conducts regular follow-ups. This has actually been shown to improve patient adherence, and therefore patient outcomes.

What is your company’s biggest strength?

Apan Amos Damri: Our biggest strength is the efficacy of our products and our human resources. We have an incredibly dedicated team providing clinic support to patients and we really take the time to ensure our customers’ wellbeing and improvement.

What advice do you wish you had received when you started your business journey?

Apan Amos Damri: Dream bigger.

What do you intend on improving in the next quarter?

Apan Amos Damri: We aim to further develop a system to facilitate patient and physician education. Not only by sharing valuable information to patients, but creating a network in which we can share data to further improve outcomes. And, of course, growth.

Here is a two-fold question: what is the book that influenced you the most and how?

Apan Amos Damri: The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle had a great influence on me. Tolle talks about being present in the moment, a practice I was already implementing, but the book cemented the practical aspect of it and helped me stay more consistently anchored in the present moment.

“Contrary to common belief, do business with friends. Be brave when it goes wrong, be happy and celebrate together when it goes well.”

Please share some life lessons you learned.

Apan Amos Damri: Contrary to common belief, do business with friends. Be brave when it goes wrong, be happy and celebrate together when it goes well. All my businesses are with my friends, historicaly and hopefully in the future as well.

Now what book have you gifted the most and why?

Apan Amos Damri: Badulina is a great book a friend of mine wrote. It’s an easy, fun read that has a way of inspiring you for a long time after you read it. A short read with a big impact.

Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as the real challenge right now?

Apan Amos Damri: For Evinature, the biggest challenge right now is to balance growth, optimized operations, and being true to the core values of the company – the integrity, safety, efficacy, quality of our product and services.

There are times when you have to sacrifice one aspect to gain another, but our core values are the most important, especially in this field.

In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?

Apan Amos Damri: In my experience, the core team is definitely the decision you have to invest the most energy on.

N a lighter note, if you had the ability to pick any business superpower, what would it be and how would you put it into practice?

Apan Amos Damri: Luck. One of the main roles of a CEO is making decisions, and if you’re smart, intuitive, can read the landscape and you’re aligned with the values of the company, all you need is a little bit of luck for success.
